North Sichuan Medical University is a B+ grade medical university in China. It is among the best 45 universities in China.

Established in 1951. The study of MBBS in the English medium for international students started in 2012.

North Sichuan Medical University is located in Nanchong. It is not that far from India. 7.30 hours flight from Delhi.

Currently, 200 international students are studying MBBS here. They are from India & Pakistan.

North Sichuan Medical University has two campuses;
The west campus, or the old campus.
The east campus, or the new campus.

Indian books followed, plus some American books. MCI syllabus.

Two canteens are within the Gaoping campus, including one halal canteen. Students also can cook if they wish.

Each room in Gaoping campus has AC, Room Heater, Separate beds, Study Table, almirah, etc.

NSMU has 1 Direct affiliated hospital. It was built in 1974. It has 2500 patient beds.

The weather is pleasant — mild-warm all the year except Nov to Feb, which is very cold.

NSMU has only 1 scholarship scheme of 3000 ¥ each student. This depends on the scholarship test.

NSMU has not started PG for international students.
