How is MBBS in Bangladesh for Indian students for passing MCI?

KINDLY READ TILL THE END TO KNOW THE REALITY.

MCI passing mostly 80% depends on the quality of the student. A little bit, 20% depends on the College or country.

MBBS in Bangladesh in 2012

Many agencies in net showing that MCI passing from Bangladesh is high, citing one statistics of 2012.

Let me explain to you, that these statistics have no reality with today.

Point Number 1: Students who passed in 2012 had taken admission in 2006 or 2007 or before.

Point Number 2: In 2006 or 2007, in Bangladesh, only 22 medical colleges used to accept foreign students. ONLY 10 to 30 students could take admission plus Eligibility Criteria that time was stringent. The Eligibility criteria in 2006 or 2007 were:

1st Criteria: Students who have passed 10+2 in the same year or previous year

2nd Criteria: With more than 80% in PCB and 90% in Biology separately.

So, quite naturally, Indian students who got admission to Bangladesh, at that time were quite good.

Even then, the passing was quite weak compared to the quality of the students:

Kindly check the actual statistics below.

DHAKA MEDICAL COLLEGE: only 6 passed out of 42

JALALABAD RAGIB RABEYA MEDICAL COLLEGE: only 2 passed out of 10

CHITTAGONG MEDICAL COLLEGE: only 2 passed out of 11

RANGPUR MEDICAL COLLEGE: 1 passed out of 6

SHER-E-BANGLA MEDICAL COLLEGE: 1 passed out of 4

HOLY FAMILY RED CRESCENT MEDICAL COLLEGE: 9 passed out of 37

I am 100% sure, that if those quality students have gone to medical colleges of other countries, then all of them would have passed MCI in the very 1st attempt.

MBBS in Bangladesh Present Situation

But now the scenario has totally changed. The overall quality of Bangladesh colleges has deteriorated massively.

As of 2019, there are 116 private medical colleges mushroomed everywhere in Bangladesh, who accepts international students just for the sake of money.

95% of these 116 medical colleges have nil infrastructure, no hospital, no proper lab of any kind, worst faculty. Hostels are the most inferior part of these colleges.

These colleges are admitting Indian students in huge numbers to gain 35000 to 45000 USD per student.

You will see that most of the colleges are asking you to transfer 45-50% of the whole package in the 1st year before going to Bangladesh. Do you know why???

Because once you pay such a hefty amount, you will have no option left to return, although you will cry after seeing the actual condition of these colleges.

All these 116 Pvt colleges and their Admission agents, jointly or separately, posting the news all over the internet that Bangladesh has good MCI passing %, which is technically wrong. This they are doing so that they can fool and loot more Indian students.

Average Only 4 to 10 students per College gave the exam in 2012. How can one evaluate the quality based on so few numbers of students?

Bangladeshi Patients in India

As per a report of BDNEWS24, in 2012, more than 1,65,000 patients came to India for medical treatment. Do you think if Bangladesh has high-quality medical treatment, then such a massive number of patients would have come to India?

Have you heard of any patient going to Bangladesh for treatment???

Why Omkar Medicom do MBBS Admission in Bangladesh?

We are also doing admission for MBBS in Bangladesh. You can ask why we are doing even when the quality is so poor. We do the admission only because a few students, due to various reasons like religion or proximity to Kolkata opt only for Bangladesh.

If we don't do, then some one else will admit them. At least our students have an advantage. They can know the reality before landing in Bangladesh.
